After working as a marketing director at a top regional ad agency, and in marketing at Coca-Cola Enterprises, I decided something had to give if I wanted to spend more time with my young family. I opened my first photography studio 2 weeks before 9-11, as the economy fell apart, with 3 kids under 3 years old (busy mamas, I see you.) I quickly discovered that my newfound photography business was eating up all my time and mental energy (sound familiar?). I was on the verge of burnout, unsure how to make real profit using a broken business model where I was giving it all away
It wasn’t until I married my skill for marketing with my knack for photography that everything changed.
